if anyone could potentially appreciate the great worth orphans with Down Syndrome have, it would be parents with children who have Down Syndrome by birth and love them very much. We hope to be able to share more about Reeces Rainbow in the future...in VA!

A few weeks ago we went to our first Buddy Walk. Last year we weren't able to take Sean because I was busy having a baby :)
It was indoors because that day was freezing and drizzling...in the 50's (the day before and the day after were both in the 70's....that is South Dakota weather for you!) The walk part was not as nice as being outside but it still was alot of fun for the kids and very well attended. We put up a table to share about Reeces Rainbow's orphan ministry which finds homes for orphans with Down Syndrome and other disabilities....where we found Sean! We were thankful for the opportunity, though the place we were given was not very viewable...but there were people who came by and took brochures and looked at our adoption photos. We also had pictures of waiting orphans for people to take to pray for them to find a family and some people took one! A blessing we had was to meet people there who had prayed for Lily to come home...who got to meet her and hold her.
