Getting official

Last Friday we piled into our van and headed for our state capitol to get our notarized documents apostilled... basically to get the Secretary of state to add a state seal that is attached to each document with the Secretary of state's signature. You can do it via mail but we decided to drive in person to get it done and not have to worry about our dossier (all of our apostilled documents that will be sent to the country) getting lost in the mail. It was a 3 hour drive but the apostilling only took 30 minutes and we had fun seeing the capitol building there. Unfortunately one document we had to send to another state to be apostilled ( because it was notarized in a different state) but the rest of them are apostilled and overnight expressed to our agency!! We pray that they will be approved by our agency and able to be soon sent over for translation to be submitted to the country. We are getting close :)
