You never know how your life affects others

After our apostille adventure, we had to get lunch out....we had a fun time celebrating our big accomplishment and just enjoying being together....John and I and our 5 precious children. In the middle of our meal, a few elderly couples walked by us on their way out, with one dear lady smiling at us, saying "what a nice family!" several times. Shortly later, an elderly gentleman stopped by and said, "I've been sitting over there watching your family.... it brings tears to my eyes to see such a family." We were touched and thanked him. About 30 minutes later, as we were wrapping up, the waiter informed us that someone had picked up our check! ...even the tip! That was quite an unexpected blessing for us. Aside from being thankful that our children had been cheerful and had good behavior that afternoon, it was a lesson to us that we never know how our lives may bless another person we don't even know. It also reminded me, who had been a little anxious about all the fees we'd just paid to apostille and overnight mail, that God is our provider and can supply our needs...and He delights in it! He is good!
