8 years ago we were blessed to start our adoption journey to bring home 3 spec. You can read about their adoptions on older posts.

Now after having hosted 2 children in our home who quickly became family to us, we are once again embarking on a journey to bring them home! Join our family in this amazing journey!

God humbles and amazes us

This has been whirlwind of a week. We started out by finding out more definitively that in order for our USCIS approval (from our adoption last year) to not expire, we need to TRAVEL by July to be home before August 12th!! Thats only 2 months. We'd have to submit our dossier by the end of this month.....

so we were feeling a bit overwhelmed, and praying that God will provide the funds we need to bring Lacie home. We still need about $16,000. We know that God can and really we could not raise that money of our own power....we are dependant on God who can owns all things and can accomplish howwever He chooses....if it is His will.

Well, the other day I received an email from Andrea from Reeces Rainbow saying we'd been selected to benefit from a fundraisier benefit concert being organized by a family....wow! we were so excited and humbled at God's goodness to us. He can never cease to amaze us by how He works. The same day, we got a phone call from a mom who writes for the local paper who wants to do a story about our adoption to help us raise funds. Amazed...and so humbled...and thankful. God is so good!
So despite my moments of doubt, God is faithful and has encouraged us that He will provide and He will bring Lacie home.

Please pray for His blessing on these dear people who are helping to get the word out for us. Please pray about how He might use you...to spread the word (share our blog or button, tell your friends), pray, visit our bracelet blog, make a donation.... or however He leads! May he bless you abundantly with the joy of being a part of what He is doing for these precious orphans.

"Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, and shaken together will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6:38
