This sweet little girl needs a family...in just 2 weeks is her birthday --when she will turn 8 years-old. It is a miracle really that she is still alive, for Diana has Cystic Fibrosis...and she lives in an orphanage in Eastern Europe, where we adopted our Sean and Lily. From what I can gather, she is still at the younger orphanage which is unsual because typically special needs children are transferred around age 4 years-old. This makes me think that this little girl with such a bright smile is a favorite, and they have delayed transferring her, because they know what the institutions are like. With her condition, if she is transferred, it is likely she won't survive for children with CF are prone to lung infections and need special treatments. Even if she is a favorite, they can only keep kids so long and it is inevitable that she will be transferred...especially with her birthday coming.

Look at that pretty smile! Light brown hair and big brown eyes, Diana is waiting for her forever family. She was born with mucoviscidosis (cystic fibrosis) and has a pancreatic deficiency. We are waiting on more info about any possible medications or treatments that she takes for this, and about her prognosis medically. However, she is described as a smart and delightful girl. She is active and friendly and will do well in a loving family environment. She deserves the opportunity to live out her life at HOME, with opportunities to succeed outside of her orphanage.
A young lady has started a blog for Diana and is challenging people with a heart to help Diana to pray for her everyday that God will give her a family before her birthday.

I did find out about two girls with CF in Poland that are on Children's House International. One was adopted by a US family, the other is still in Poland. She is six years old and goes by the code name "Seraphina". That's all I can tell you. I still haven't been able to adopt yet.

We are Diana's family, thank you so much for advocating for our beautiful daughter! We DID see her from her FB page and thats how we decided to take a chance and ask for her info. We love her very much, should be leaving quite soon, just waiting for the 171. Thanks again!!
