Baby Doelings!

Around 6:30 pm., Sunday night, 2 baby doelings were born to my goat Sunflower. They are so precious!! They both look like their mother :) The youngest and biggest looks alot like her mother in color, and her dad in looks, and the oldest and littlest looks alot like her mother but with alot more light brown in her. They are so adorable :)
It was so amazing to see a goat giving birth to 2 precious babies. Naomi, Daddy, Mommy and I got to help with the birth. She had a great birth, and didn't need any help.
The baby goats have been having some trouble nursing on their own...after we get them on the teat, they can nurse by themselves, but they can't get on by themselves. They seem to think that the teats are higher than they are. Please pray that eventually they will learn to start nursing by themselves :)
We decided to name them Sunshine and Sunbeam! Sunshine and Sunbeam have been enjoying playing outside with their mommy in her pen or in our yard. They love to jump and leap about, and explore with their mommy. They are so cute :)

ps. The pink baby goat sweater is hand knit by our Nana, and we made the light brown one by cutting the sleeves off a part wool sweater, then sewing it, and attaching little leg things. The babes don't wear them anymore since it is so warm!
But, the first couple days they wore them since it was cold.
