Our friends from Oklahoma City
We enjoyed resting and taking it easy yesterday afternoon and evening here in Brovary, a suburb of Kiev where there is a christian guest house of our friends Yuri and Sveta. We were able to finally meet our RR friend Chris Malone and his son Blake, as well as several friends from their church in Oklahoma City, who have been here on a mission trip and were waiting to fly out early this morning. Please keep them in your prayers today, as well as us as we make the long journey home.
Once we are home John will need to work each day except Sunday and then he and our older 2 girls will fly back with him on August 13th to arrive in Kiev on the 14th...Haylee's 13th birthday! She is excited to spend it in the Ukraine. They will need to be there about 2 1/2 weeks...this time we scheduled a few extra days because there is a Ukrainian holiday on the 24th and the Embassy is closed the last Friday of the month. We hope that it will go faster and we could change their tickets to come home earllier (this time we fly on Lufthansa with the cheap change fee) provided seats are available.
So, we'll let you know once we're home and after that we may take a computer vacation for a week to just be with the kids...sounds like heaven to me.

So glad you were able to meet the Malone's & others from our church family. What a special treat! We are excited you are on your way home. We'll continue to pray for you as your travel & reunite with your sweet family. Excited to follow along the 2nd part of the journey as well. So happy for each of you. Be blessed!
