One of the french families who are adopting: the father and his son with me (Haylee), Sean and the wife is not in the picture.. in the sandbox!
Sean running away from Daddy to see my camera!There are lots of bugs here.. Mosquitos, crawly bugs and bees. We are tired of being at the orphanage... we want to get out of here with Sean!!! Infact, we want to go home!!!!

Thanks for the updates. It's good to know about the bugs--I hadn't thought about packing bug spray. You are almost to gotcha day.

I'm very excited for you that the end is in sight. The day you take Sean out of the orphanage will be incredible.
I found that the anticipation in Odessa the last couple of days before getting the passport made it difficult. It think it is like a marathon runner when they say the first 17 or so miles are easy, but once you hit 18 it gets really tough. Then, by mile 22 or so it's all down hill. Stay strong with that.
Remember that you want to go to the Embassy FIRST once you get to Kiev. Do the medical after. There is plenty of time. This is the best way to assure that you can get the visa the same day. I think Irina and Anatoly will be ready for this since we (and the Dickinson family) had such good luck with this. Just let Irina know that is what you want to do.
Odessa is very cool. Make sure you do some sight seeing. Irina will get giddy around the Opera House, especially if there is a ballet in town. She loves dance and would have gone when we were there, but we missed it by a day.

It's almost done! We know how you feel about wanting to GO HOME! And being tired of going to the orphanage! Praise God for what He is doing. He is Great and Mighty and will finish what He has begun.
