Now we know.... those green dots the kids had at the orphanage....that we were told when we first got there were antiseptic for bug bites......they were most likely from chicken pox. It makes no sense to me as we had heard from other families how very careful they are to isolate children who are sick from visitors and other children.
Our son Jonah came down with a fever Sunday night and has started getting bumps/blisters :(
Please pray for us that we can get over this quickly so we will be able to go home when they finally come home from the Ukraine!
John and Haylee won't be able to update today so heres the latest...
They were told this morning that because of the holiday, they couldn't get SEan today because it had only been 9 days... however they really have waited 12 days by our counting. Our translator went to talk to the judge and he is letting us get him out at 3 pm. So they should be in process of getting him out then driving to Odessa later today. Unfortunately we will lose a day since they won't make the 4 pm appointment in Odessa regarding the birth certificate.
I'm looking forward to hearing that Sean (Vladik) is finally out of the orphanage today! Please pray for their safe travel and a smooth process as they get the required paperwork done to bring him home.
