our day

Today, we went to the orphanage to visit with Sean. Sean was a little confused that Mommy, Naomi, and Jonah were not visiting, but after a while he seemed content. We went and had a snack (yogurt) one of his favorites! Then we played in the bigger sandbox with him, he went on the swing with another boy who is in the same groupa that is being adopted. Sean seemed very content for about 15 minutes, and then he decided to walk. We walked around the orphanage, and he tried to climb these green stairs, but Daddy said "Nyett". He did it a couple times. A worker of some sort was giving out crackers and she gave us some for Sean.. she tried to give me some, but Daddy explained (through his russian dictionary) that I am allergic to wheat. She gave us some more for Sean. He liked them and we saved some for our next visit. We then left him, and went to the the Potato House...our favorite place to eat! We then went to the market to buy stuff we needed and then went home and did some stuff we needed to do. After an hour and a half, we headed to the orphanage. While we drove, it was raining hard, but we don't think that it reached the orphanage. We did pretty much the same thing: eat snack, play in the sand, take a walk, and talk to the other people who are adopting. Then we went home and we are making dinner now: rice with vegatables (pepper, green onion, carrot and tomato) a Ukrainian dish! And we are adding buckwheat (a Ukrainian main food).
