2 days!

Well, I can't believe we will be heading to the Ukraine in just 2 days!

Our good friend Danielle flew into town Tuesday so the kids were very excited and are enjoying having her with us. It has been such a blessing to have her here a few days early, as there has been alot of errands to do, so the kids have been able to do things at home with her while I've done those, usually with one or 2 children so we could have "dates" with Mommy before we leave.

John and I even got a date in!

Walmart, last minute doctor visits, visits to pharmacy, walmart...
Laundry, packing, cleaning...

One added blessing is that Aidan has been able to practice some with Danielle and the girls caring for him and giving him a bottle and baby food.
He has been doing really well and it has been encouraging to me to see.
He hasn't been sleeping as well at night but that is okay--I don't mind a couple nights nursing him since soon I'll be away.

Thanks to all who are praying for us ...
we will leave Saturday morning and be traveling all day--we will arrive in Ukraine 9:10 Ukraine time, around 2:00 pm US time on Sunday the 18th.
Once we are there, we will post as soon as we can figure out internet.

In case it takes a while, please pray for our official appointment Monday morning July 19th (will be 8 hours earlier than US time eastern time?)

Lord, thank you for your many blessings and provisions. Thank you that our lives are in your hands, and that no matter where we go, you are there. Please grant us travel mercy and keep us in your loving hands as we travel. Please keep our precious children in the palm of Your loving hands and cover them in your grace, and bring us all back together as soon as possible. Please forgive us when we have worried or not honored you or each other. Please strengthen our faith and prepare us for loving and caring for Lacie and Taras and whatever is in your good will for our family. Thank you for bringing us here and for doing more than we can ask or imagine. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen
